By this time the dew claws have been removed, first round of shots administered, and two rounds of deworming given. The puppies are fully weaned from mommy and have been introduced to water, baths, car rides, crate training, a play pen, playing outside, interactive play with litter mates and older puppies as well as various fowl scents. The puppies are on a regular eating and sleep schedule and are sleeping thru the night. They have been heavily socialized by being held and played with many times each day.
It is important to have things ready to introduce your new baby to your home for ease of transition. Items you may need are: a crate, play pen attachment, food and water bowls, large breed puppy food, a collar, leash, safe toys for teething, a bed or crate insert, and puppy wipes.
On the day of pick up you will leave with your puppy, your litter certificate, a puppy folder for record keeping, a days worth of puppy food, a chew toy, and a new owner information sheet. We will review the new owner information with you and go over the paperwork for the AKC registration and transfer of ownership.
We hope you love and enjoy your new family member as much as we have and would appreciate updates periodically with photos and videos.
Puppy pick ups are scheduled by appointment. All balances due need to be fulfilled prior to leaving with your puppy.
